KSP Investigate Injury Accident On I64 In Franklin County

(Frankfort, KY.) - On July 27, 2015 at approximately 10:21 A.M., Kentucky State Police Post 12, Frankfort received a report of an injury accident at the 58 mile marker, Interstate 64 eastbound in Frankfort.
Kentucky State Police Unit drove up on the scene of a two vehicle injury accident involving a 2010 GMC Yukon, being driven by Sabrina Spellman, age 43, of Crestwood, KY, and a 2011 LaFayette Limousine Bus, driven by Perry Williams, age 55, of Battle Ground, IN.
According to witnesses, eastbound I64 traffic had slowed due to a collision near the Midway Exit. The Yukon slowed suddenly with traffic. The Limousine Bus, containing 32 passengers, was not able to stop in time, and struck the Yukon in the rear.
Mrs. Spellman, and a minor passenger were transported to the University of Kentucky Hospital for minor injuries. Mr. Williams and 7 minor passengers were transported to Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Two passengers from the Limousine were also transported to the University of Kentucky Hospital. All victims were treated for minor injuries.
No charges are pending at this time.
Kentucky State Police were assisted at the scene by Franklin County Sheriff's Office, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Franklin County Fire, EMS, and Woodford County EMS.
The investigation is continuing by Kentucky State Police Post 12.
