KSP Investigate Two Vehicle Fatality in Anderson County

(Lawrenceburg, KY.) - Kentucky State Police are investigating a two vehicle collision in Anderson County, resulting in the death of one person and the hospitalization of four others.

On November 30, 2015 at approximately 1:16 p.m., Anderson County Dispatch received a complaint of a two vehicle injury accident on Fox Creek Road, Lawrenceburg. Upon investigation, it was determined a red Chevrolet pickup, operated by Bradley S. Waldridge, age 30, of Lawrenceburg, KY, crossed into the oncoming lane, striking a black Toyota Camry, operated by Jonathan R. Liles-Meeks, age 24, of Lawrenceburg, KY.

Jonathan R. Liles-Meeks was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Anderson County Coroner's Office. Liles' wife, Samantha D. Meeks, age 24, and a juvenile, Floyd Meeks, age 4, were extricated from the vehicle and transported to University of Kentucky Hospital. Bradley S. Waldridge, and a passenger in his vehicle, 20 month old Waylan Waldridge, were also transported to University of Kentucky Hospital. The status of those transported is unknown at this time.

No charges have been issued at this time, pending investigation.

Kentucky State Police were assisted at the scene by Anderson County Sheriff's Office, Anderson County Fire Department, Anderson County EMS, Anderson County Coroner's Office, and Franklin County EMS.

The investigation is continuing by the Kentucky State Police Post 12 Accident Reconstruction Team.
