Adair County Injury Collision

(Columbia, KY.) - Tpr. Levi Scott is investigating a collision that occurred on 03/24/2015 at 4:15 PM CST, 2 miles north of Columbia on KY 551. 54-year-old Rosetta Stotts, of Columbia, was operating a 2005 Hyundai, traveling north, when she attempted a left turn onto Holmes Bend Road and turned into the path of a bicycle operated by 45-year-old Larry Michael Godsey, of Columbia.
Stotts and a passenger, 10-year-old Kelsea Stotts, were both belted and were uninjured. Godsey was ejected from his bicycle and was taken from the scene by Adair County EMS and then airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital for further treatment. Godsey was wearing a helmet.
Trooper Scott was assisted at the scene by CVE Officer Derek Cundiff, Adair County EMS, Fire Department and Sheriff's Department.
