Marion County Man Wanted for Assault 1st

(Bradfordsville, KY.) - Post 15 received a call for Marion County dispatch at approximately 1:25 AM EDT on Sunday, April 12 in reference to a stabbing that occurred at the 3 Pines Bar. 34-year-old Jeremy Cox, of Campbellsville, and 50-year-old Leonard Mattingly, of Bradfordsville, had been involved in a verbal argument inside the establishment before going outside where the confrontation became physical. During the fight, Mattingly stabbed Cox with a knife and fled the scene. Cox was taken to Springview Hospital and then transferred to University of Louisville Hospital where he was treated and remains while recovering.

An Assault 1st warrant was issued for Mattingly, who was arrested today at 10:43 AM EDT at Fuel Total Systems in Lebanon and was lodged in the Marion County Detention Center. Tpr. Logan Smith is investigating.
