Adair County Injury Collision

(Columbia, KY.) - Tpr. Levi Scott is investigating a collision that occurred Friday, December 25th, 2015 at 3:43 PM CST, 8 miles east of Columbia on KY 80 at Russell Creek Hill. 51-year-old Shelton Grider, of Russell Springs, was operating a westbound 1995 Ford pickup when he crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound 2012 Ford Escape operated by 33-year-old Jacklyn Judd, of Greensburg.

Grider and a passenger, 15-year-old female were treated at Westlake Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Judd was extricated from the Ford Escape and treated at Westlake for non-life threatening injuries. A 15-year-old male passenger was transported to Russell County ER with non-life threatening injuries. Both drivers were belted. Tpr. Scott was assisted at the scene by the Adair County Sheriff’s Department, EMS, Rescue and Fire.
