Injury Collision on US 60 in Hancock County

(Henderson, KY) -- On January 2nd, 2015 at approximately 8:23 PM Kentucky State Police responded to an accident with injuries on US 60 just east of Hawesville. Jeffrey Wright was operating a grey 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee west on US 60, when for unknown reasons his vehicle left the roadway via the right shoulder, collided with a rock embankment, then overturned several times and came to final rest on its top in the grass. Three juvenile passengers occupying Wright's vehicle identified as Heather Harris, Presley Wright and Courtney Wright were transported to Breckinridge Memorial Hospital by Hancock County EMS for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Kentucky State Police was assisted at the scene by Hancock County Department, Hancock County EMS and Hawesville Fire Department.
