Escapee James Dennis Believed to be in the Henderson Area

(Henderson, KY) - Our post has received credible information that Blackburn Correctional escapee James Dennis is in the Henderson area. He escaped from the Lexington correctional facility April 7th , 2015 and has avoided capture since. We encourage anyone with information about him and/or his whereabouts to contact local authorities or Kentucky State Police Post 16-Henderson at 270.826.3312.

Two Inmates Escaped from Blackburn Correctional Complex

(Frankfort, KY) - On Monday, April 07, 2015 at approximately 09:38 pm, Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort investigated the escape of two inmates from Blackburn Correctional Complex, a minimum security facility, in Lexington, KY.

Kelly Craig Conway, age 46, of Des Moines, Iowa, and James Daniel Dennis, age 32, of Henderson, KY, both walked away from the Blackburn Correctional Complex. Conway has served one year of a ten year sentence for Robbery, 2nd Degree. Dennis has served four years of multiple five year sentences for Flagrant Non Support, Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1st Offense, Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursor, 1st Offense and a three year sentence for Possession of a Controlled Substance-1st Degree-Drug Unspecified.

Currently there is no information on potential locations or route.
