Three Vehicle Accident with Injury in Mclean County

(Henderson, KY) - On December 25, 2015 at approximately 11:12PM Kentucky State Police Henderson responded to a three vehicle accident with injury in the 4000 block of U.S. Highway 431 in Mclean County, KY. Upon investigation at the scene it was determined that Mr. Brandon Tapp of Owensboro, KY was operating a white 2013 Ford Mustang southbound on U.S. 431 when a deer entered the roadway. Mr. Tapp stopped abruptly in the middle of the roadway to avoid collision with the deer but causing a chain reaction with the vehicles behind him. The juvenile was operating a white 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix, and Mr. Seth Kroeger was operating a black 1995 Nissan 200 both were southbound behind Mr. Tapp. Due to wet road conditions and the abrupt stop the juvenile was unable to avoid a collision with Mr. Tapp, and Mr. Kroeger was unable to avoid the collision with the vehicle operated by the juvenile. A passenger Jonathan Kroeger of Livermore, KY was transported by Mclean County EMS to Owensboro Heath Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
