Single Vehicle Injury Collision On KY 181

Clifty, KY (Todd County) - The Kentucky State Police investigated a single vehicle, injury collision that occurred on KY 181, 3 miles south of Clifty, on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 1:04 p.m.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Betty Bohonis, 62, of Lewisburg was operating a 2003 Chrysler Sebring southbound on KY 181. Ms. Bohonis entered a curve and lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle exited the right side of the roadway and struck two trees.
Ms. Bohonis, who had to be extricated from her vehicle, was transported by AirEvac to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville for treatment. Ms. Bohonis, the only occupant of the vehicle, was wearing a seatbelt.
Trooper Michael Dennis investigated the collision. The Todd County Sheriff's Office, Todd County EMS, Todd County Fire and Rescue, Clifty Fire and Rescue, and AirEvac assisted at the scene.
