Two Vehicle Injury Collision on KY 91

Fredonia, KY (Caldwell County) - The Kentucky State Police is investigating a two-vehicle, injury-collision that occurred on KY 91 at the KY 70 intersection at 7:47 a.m. on Saturday, October 17.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Stacey Kilgore, 47, Fredonia, KY, was operating a 2000 Mercury, traveling southbound on KY 91. Jerald Lynn, 47, of Madisonville, was operating a 1999 Dodge pickup. Kilgore attempted to turn left onto KY 70 and pulled in the path of travel of Lynn.

Kilgore was flown from the scene by Air Evac to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN, after being extricated from her vehicle by Fredonia and Princeton Fire Departments. Lynn was transported to Caldwell County Hospital by Caldwell County EMS and transferred to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.

KY 91 and KY 70 were closed for approximately one hour due to the collision. Caldwell County EMS, Air Evac, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department, Fredonia Fire Department and Princeton Fire Department assisted on the scene.
