Single Vehicle Injury Collision on US 641

Crayne, KY (Crittenden County) - The Kentucky State Police is investigating a single-vehicle, injury-collision that occurred around the 6900 block of US 641, on Wednesday, November 18, at 6:24 a.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Jacob L. McMican, 25, Marion, was operating a 2010 Dodge Ram pickup truck southbound on US 641 when the vehicle dropped off the right shoulder of the roadway. It struck an earthen embankment and came to rest off the roadway in a ditch.

Mr. McMican, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported via ambulance to Crittenden Health Systems for treatment.

Trooper Joe Bartolotti is investigating the collision. Crittenden County EMS and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet assisted at the scene.
