Vehicle Versus Pedestrian Injury Collision

(Bowling Green, KY) -- On Wednesday, January 07, 2015 at approx. 09:29 a.m. the Kentucky State Police responded to a vehicle versus a pedestrian injury collision. The incident occurred in Hardyville in front of the residence at 215 North Jackson Highway.

Barry Locke (56) of Hardyville was operating a 2001 Ford pickup, when he was backing from the driveway of the residence onto North Jackson Highway. Linda Kinslow (73) of Hardyville was crossing the highway returning to her residence from retrieving her mail from her mailbox when she was struck by the truck operated by Locke.

Linda Kinslow was airlifted from the scene and was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital where she is listed in stable condition. The collision is being investigated by TFC. Johnathan McChesney, and was assisted on the scene by the Hardyville and Linwood Voluntary Fire Departments, Hart County EMS, and Air Methods.
