Two Arrested, Two Stolen Vehicles Recovered, and Drug Charges

(Bonnieville, KY) - On Thursday, February 5, 2015 at approx. 8:59 am the Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green and the Hart County Sheriff's Department responded to the area of Wright Lane in Bonnieville, KY to attempt to locate a stolen vehicle that was taken from a home invasion that was being investigated by the Radcliff Police Department the day prior. The vehicle, a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, was located behind the residence at 1805 Wright Lane, along with a 2014 Hyundai Elantra that was in the process of being reported stolen by Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
Units attempted to make contact with someone at the residence for an extended period of time, but received no response. Information was gathered to indicate that someone was inside the residence so a search warrant was obtained. At this point two subjects were located inside the residence.
Paul "David" Oiler, 48, of Bonnieville was located inside the residence, along with Larry Hodges (32), of Bonnieville. Hodges was initially placed under arrest for an active warrant. During the investigation, items used in the manufacturing of Methamphetamine were discovered in and around the residence. Both vehicles were recovered and the items used for manufacturing, along with other various items of drug paraphernalia were secured.
Oiler was arrested and charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursor 1st Offense, two counts of Drug Paraphernalia Possession, and Hindering Prosecution or Apprehension 2nd Degree. He was lodged in the Hart County Jail.
Hodges was charged in addition to his warrant for Receiving Stolen Property $10,000.00 or more, Receiving Stolen Property under $10,000.00, two counts of Possession of Meth Precursor 1st Offense, and two counts of Drug Paraphernalia Possession. He was also lodged in the Hart County Jail.
The investigation is still ongoing and being led by Trooper Jason Adkison, who was assisted by other units from the Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, along with units from the Hart County Sheriff's Department.
