Single Vehicle Injury Collision on Interstate 65

(Bowling Green, KY) - On April 9, 2015 at approx 12:02 pm the Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green received a report of a single vehicle injury collision at the 36 MM Southbound on Interstate 65.

The preliminary investigation indicated that the operator of a 2012 Toyota Camry was traveling southbound on Interstate 65 when she lost control for an unknown reason and went off the right side of the roadway striking an earth embankment, where the vehicle overturned.

Both occupants were transported to The Medical Center in Bowling Green by The Medical Center EMS, where they were later flown to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. At this time they have not been identified and their conditions are unknown. An update will be released when information becomes available.

The investigation is still ongoing and being conducted by Trooper First Class Larry Davis.
