Update on Dead Body Located on Waterloo Road in Hart County

(Horse Cave, KY) - An autopsy was performed at the Medical Examiner's Office in Louisville this morning where at this time no other information could be determined in identifying the body or cause of death. Further examination will be conducted in attempting to develop this information. The investigation is still ongoing and information will be released when it becomes available.

Dead Body Located on Waterloo Road in Hart County

Date of News Release: 06/25/2015

(Horse Cave, KY) - On Thursday, June 25, 2015 at approx. 2:26 pm the Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green responded to Waterloo Road in Hart County where it was reported by a truck driver that was jogging in the area, that he noticed what appeared to be a dead body.

When the Trooper arrived, human remains were discovered in a wooded area off the edge of Waterloo Road. The body has not yet been identified at this time and was removed by the Hart County Coroner Reggie Pettit. An autopsy will be performed next date at the Medical Examiner's Office in Louisville. No other information is available at this time.

The investigation is still ongoing and is being led by Detective Wesley Medley.
