Indictment Returned and Served on Timothy Madden for the Murder of 7 Year Old Gabriella Doolin

(Scottsville, KY) - On Friday December 11, 2015 the case involving the murder and the circumstances surrounding the death of 7 year old Gabriella Doolin was presented to the Allen County Grand Jury where they returned an Indictment on 38 year old Timothy Madden charging him with the following offenses:

  • Kidnapping (Victim Death)
  • Rape 1st Degree (Victim Less Than 12 Years Of Age)
  • Sodomy 1st Degree (Victim Less Than 12 Years Of Age)
  • Murder

On Monday, December 14, 2015 the Indictment warrant was served on Timothy Madden at the Barren County Detention Center.

Now that this case is pending trial in Allen Circuit Court, the Kentucky State Police will have no further public comment about the investigation. Any further inquiries for information should be directed to the Allen County Commonwealth Attorney's Office.

Arrest Made in the Murder of 7 Year Old Gabriella Doolin

Date of News Release: 11/20/2015

(Scottsville, KY) - While attending a football game at Allen County High School on Saturday, November 14, Gabriella Doolin could not be located by her family. Gabriella was then reported missing to Allen County Dispatch at 7:40 PM. An immediate search of the area was conducted and at 8:05 PM, the Kentucky State Police were notified that her body had been located in a wooded area near the school. Since that time, a vigorous investigation has taken place day and night into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Today at 11:23 AM, an arrest warrant was issued and 38 year old Timothy Madden of Scottsville was arrested and is lodged in the Allen County Jail.

Madden was charged with:

  • Kidnapping (Victim Death)
  • Rape 1st Degree (Victim Less Than 12 Years Of Age)
  • Sodomy 1st Degree (Victim Less Than 12 Years Of Age)
  • Murder

This is still an ongoing investigation and no further details can be released at this time. The investigation is being led by Detective Wesley Medley, where he was assisted by the Detectives of Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green, KSP Forensics Lab, Medical Examiner's Office, Allen County Sheriff's Office, Scottsville Police Department, Allen County Coroner's Office, Allen County EMS, Scottsville Fire Department, and the Allen County Rescue Squad.

(Scottsville, KY) - The Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green has made an arrest in the death of Gabriella Doolin. Timothy Madden (38) of Scottsville, KY has been taken into custody and arrested.

Body of 7 Year Old Found In Creek Confirmed To Be a Homicide

(Scottsville, KY) - The Medical Examiner's Office in Louisville has performed the autopsy on Gabriella Doolin and was able to confirm that it was a homicide and Detectives with the Kentucky State Police are still investigating it as such. No other details from the autopsy can be released at this time.

Body of 7 Year Old Found In Creek Believed To Be a Homicide

Date of News Release: 11/15/2015

(Scottsville, KY) - On November 14, 2015 at 7:40 pm it was reported to the Scottsville Police Department that 7 year old Gabriella Doolin of Allen County was missing by her mother from a football game they were attending on the Allen County High School campus property.

A search began immediately and it was reported to the Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green at 8:05 pm that her body had been located in a creek in a wooded area behind the Allen County High School.

The Medical Examiner's Office in Louisville will be performing an autopsy to determine the exact manner and cause of death.

The investigation is being conducted by the Detectives of KSP Post 3 and is being handled as a homicide. KSP was assisted on the scene by Scottsville Police Department, Allen County Sheriff's Department, Allen County Coroner's Office.
