Powell County Arrests

(Clay City, KY) - On Tuesday, July 21st, 2015 Kentucky State Police in Morehead received a request for assistance at 64 Tori Ann Drive in Clay City, Kentucky in reference to a warrant service on Darrell Meadows, age 43. Trooper Brandon Burton, Trooper Patrick Zalone, Powell County Sheriff's Department, and Powell County Probation and Parole responded to the scene. While searching the residence, two juveniles were located living in deplorable conditions, which included evidence of meth precursors and supplies. Mr. Meadows was arrested without incident at the residence on a warrant service and also charged with Probation Violation. Sara Mullins, 32 of Clay City, was also arrested at the scene. Mrs. Mullins was charged with two counts of Wanton Endangerment, 1st Degree and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Minor. Powell County Sheriff's Department charged Mrs. Mullins with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1st Degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree. Mr. Meadows and Mrs. Mullins are lodged at the Powell County Detention Center.
