(Flemingsburg, KY) - Kentucky State Police in Morehead have obtained a warrant on Jonathan W. Maze for one count of Attempted Murder and one count of Possession of a Firearm By Convicted Felon for the shooting incident that took place on September 2, 2015. Maze should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with any information on Maze's location is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police.

Fleming County Shooting Investigation - Looking for Suspect

(Flemingsburg, KY) - On September 2nd, 2015 Kentucky State Police in Morehead along with Fleming County Sheriff's Department responded to South Lick Road, near Hillsboro, to a report of a male that had sustained a gunshot to the head. Jonathan Maze, 34 of Hillsboro, arrived at a neighbor's residence owned by Norman Jaussen, 54 of Hillsboro. As Jonathan Maze was leaving the residence he fired several shots with a shotgun, one striking Norman Jaussen in the face, and then fled into a wooded area near the home. Mr. Jaussen was transported from the scene by Fleming County EMS and was flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Jonathan Maze. Anyone with information on the location of Jonathan Maze is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police in Morehead.
