Missing Juveniles Found at Koomer Ridge

(Pine Ridge, KY) - The Kentucky State Police is investigating the disappearance of two juvenile males at the Koomer Ridge Campgrounds in the Pine Ridge community of Wolfe County.
KSP was contacted by Wolfe County 911 on October 8, 2015 at 841 p.m. and advised that Adrian Ross (7) of Bloomington, Indiana and Michael Esposito (5) of Batavia, Ohio had gone missing from their campsite. Multiple search and rescue teams and the KSP Aircraft Section responded to search the area but were not able to locate the missing juveniles.
On October 9, 2015 at 150 p.m. the juveniles were located by members of the search and rescue team near Silver Mine Arch Trail. The juveniles were unharmed and examined by members of the Wolfe County Ambulance Service. The juveniles were then returned to their parents.
A total of over 110 members from multiple search and rescue teams throughout the Commonwealth were involved in the search. KSP, Kentucky Fish and Wildlife, the United States Forestry Division and the Wolfe County Sheriff's Department assisted with rescue efforts.
