KSP Investigates a Powell County Theft

(Clay City, KY) - On November 16, 2015 at 9:22 a.m., the Kentucky State Police was notified by Powell County Dispatch requesting assistance in reference to damage and theft of parts of a backhoe.
Trooper Britt Rollins and Trooper Scott Townsley arrived at 7825 Winchester Road in Clay City and determined that two hydraulic pumps and two pieces of the stabilizer legs were stolen off of a Case backhoe. The backhoe is owned by the Kentucky Department of Transportation and was parked on the side of the road. The items were taken off of the backhoe sometime between Friday, November 13, 2015 and Tuesday, November 17, 2015.
