KSP Post 11 charges Laurel County Man with Child Sexual Exploitation Offenses in Laurel County

London, Ky. (August 29, 2016) - On Wednesday, August 24, 2016 Kentucky State Police Detectives from Post 11, London arrested David B. Haas, 53, of London, KY on charges related to possession and distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
Haas was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes against Children investigation. Detective Justin Oliver began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child exploitation online.
The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Haas' residence. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and will be taken to KSP's forensic laboratory for examination.
Haas was arrested at his residence and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center on charges of Distribution of Matter Portraying Sexual Performance by a Minor, 1st Offense.
Detective Oliver is continuing the investigation and was assisted by Detectives from Post 11.
