Accident with Injury Investigation

DAVIESS COUNTY, KY. (July 10, 2016) - At 01:13 pm July 10th Cody Payne 21, was westbound on KY 54 close to the intersection of Thruston-Dermont Rd when he had a medical condition causing his vehicle to run off the roadway and strike a tree. KSP Trooper Jared Clemons along with Daviess County Sheriff, EMS, and Fire and Rescue responded to the scene. Mr. Payne was transported by Daviess County EMS to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. Hunter Payne 15, a passenger in the vehicle was not injured.
