Collision with Injuries on U S Highway 60

HENDERSON, KY - On 09-03-2016 at 09:04 a.m. an accident occurred in the Spottsville area of Henderson County on U S Highway 60. Mr. Gary Beasley was traveling East on U S Highway 60 when he noticed a young lady walking her bicycle partially on U S Highway 60. Mr. Beasley tried to avoid striking her. The tow mirror of his truck struck Ms. Jasmine Welman knocking her to the ground. Mr. Beasley stopped to provide aid to Ms. Welman. Mr. Beasley took Ms. Welman to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital at her request. She has been admitted for observation. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Byron White.
