Single vehicle collision with injuries

Fordsville, KY. (September 17, 2016) - At 9:30 AM the Kentucky State Police responded to the 9600 Block of KY 54 in reference to a single vehicle collision with injuries. The operator of the vehicle, Howell Roach, was traveling Westbound on KY 54, through a curve, when he encountered slick road conditions. Mr. Howell lost control of his vehicle and exited the roadway, traveling into a wooded area along the edge of the highway. The vehicle then struck a tree before coming to rest. Mr. Howell was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision. The Kentucky State Police was assisted at the scene by Ohio County EMS along with Fordsville and Whitesville Fire Departments.
