KSP Arrest Sacramento Man on Narcotic Charges

Anton, KY (December 12, 2016) – KSP arrested a Sacramento man after his vehicle was observed stopped on the side of Anton Road, close to the McLean County line, shortly after 10:00 a.m. KSP Trooper John Eilert stopped to see if he could assist, but instead discovered that Mike L Kemper, 45, appeared to be under the influence. Tpr. Eilert asked Mr. Kemper to perform field sobriety tests, which Kemper failed. Tpr. Eilert then discovered that Kemper was in possession of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Kemper was arrested and charged with the following offenses:
- 1. Driving DUI Suspended License - 1st Offense (Aggravating Circumstances)
2. Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
3. Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs/Etc. – 2nd Offense
4. Possession of Marijuana
5. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Kemper was lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
