Pendleton Man Charged with Child Pornography

(Pendleton, KY.) - Kentucky State Police arrested a Trimble County man as a result of an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.

Detectives began the investigation after receiving information indicating a Trimble County juvenile received explicit photographs from Jonathan McClain, 24 of Pendleton. The Detectives served a search warrant and recovered numerous child pornography images from McClain's computer. They also discovered McClain sent a cell phone to a juvenile in exchange for an explicit video.

McClain's computer equipment was seized by the detectives and he was lodged in the Carroll County Detention Center. He was charged with promoting a sex performance by a minor, possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor, and distribution of obscene matter to a minor.
