Bourbon County Arrest

Dry Ridge, Ky. (June 17, 2016) - Trooper Charles Wagner conducted a traffic stop at the 2000 block of US 460 (Georgetown Road) in Bourbon County at 6:32 p.m. The vehicle was weaving and had crossed the center line on multiple occasions. After talking with the driver Trooper Wagner conducted field sobriety test and the driver was found to be impaired. After being placed under arrest for D.U.I. the driver requested that Trooper Wagner get money from the vehicle. While looking for the money Trooper Wagner located a large amount of cash and pills. Joseph Bartley (51) of Georgetown has been charged with reckless driving, driving under the influence 3rd offence, driving on a D.U.I. suspended license, failure to maintain insurance, failure to wear seat belt, failure to surrender revoked operator's license, possession of open alcohol container, trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree, and possession of controlled substance 1st degree. Mr. Bartley has been lodged at the Bourbon County Detention Center. This case remains under investigation by Trooper Wagner.
