KSP Investigates Injury Collision in Danville

(Danville, KY) - The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, responded to a two vehicle collision involving a Danville Police Department vehicle on South 4th Street in Danville, just before 10:00 am this morning.
The initial investigation indicates that a 2014 Ford Explorer, operated by Danville PD Detective Robert Ladd, was traveling south on 4th Street, when a 2014 Ford Mustang, operated by John Grise, 18 years old of Bowling Green changed lanes and struck the Danville PD vehicle. Robert Ladd was transported to the Ephraim McDowell Hospital following the collision where he was treated for minor injuries. No charges have been filed and alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the collision.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Trooper David Fugate. He was assisted on the scene by KSP Personnel, Danville PD, Boyle County EMS, and the Danville Fire Department.
