Elliott County Injury Collision

(Sandy Hook, KY) - On Friday May 6, 2016 at 06:22 p.m., Kentucky State Police Post 8 was notified by Elliott County Dispatch of a single vehicle injury related collision that occurred on KY 486 in Elliott County. Trooper Tyler Morris, Elliott County EMS and Sandy Hook Fire Department responded to the scene. After investigation it was determined, Roger Fraley, 51, of Sandy Hook, was traveling eastbound on KY 486 operating a 2015, Dodge Pickup Truck. He traveled off the eastbound side of the roadway striking a large rock which caused the vehicle to overturn and ejected the driver. Mr. Fraley was air lifted to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV where he is listed in critical condition. This collision remains under investigation by Trooper Tyler Morris.
