Drug Arrests in Letcher County

Jeremiah, Ky. (September 15, 2017) – On September 15, 2017, Trooper Donnie Bruce Kelly with Kentucky State Police, Post 13, and Trooper Joshua Richardson with KSP DE/SI East Criminal Interdiction Team, seized drugs along with a gun from a residence at Rush Drive in the Jeremiah community of Letcher County. Deana Whitaker,48, was charged with trafficking in heroin and methamphetamine. She was also charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Harold Geveoden, 50, was charged with trafficking in a legend drug.

Anyone with information about drug trafficking in their community are encouraged to contact Kentucky State Police. Callers may remain anonymous.
