Single Vehicle Collision with Injuries

Henderson, KY (January 14, 2017) At 12:46 AM the Kentucky State Police were called to investigate a single vehicle, injury collision on Stanley-Birk City Road near the Stanley community. A juvenile was traveling Northbound, after leaving High School Homecoming, on Stanley-Birk City Road when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to leave the roadway before striking a ditch. The vehicle overturned and came to final rest on its roof in the ditch. The juvenile operator was able to escape the vehicle and walk to a nearby residence to call for help. The operator was transported to Owensboro Hospital by her father for treatment of possible injuries.
