Felony Arrest Daviess County

Owensboro, KY The Kentucky State Police conducted a traffic stop on a 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that was traveling on KY 144 just outside of Owensboro. The car was stopped for a traffic violation and was operated by Lisa Pessia, 34, of Owensboro. Upon further investigation, Pessia was placed under arrest and transported to Daviess County Detention Center on the following charges: POSS CONT SUB 1ST DEG 1st OFF (METH), DRUG PARAPHERNALIA (BUY/POSSESS), SPEEDING 10 MPH OVER, FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD, FAILURE TO USE CHILD RESTRAINT DEVICE, EXPIRED OPERATORS LICENSE, OPERATING A VEHICLE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS 1ST OFF, FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELT, and PROMOTING CONTRABAND 1ST DEGREE.
