Trafficking in Methamphetamine

Owensboro, KY Kentucky State Police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Kentucky 144 and Reid Road for a seatbelt violation. Upon investigation, the operator of the vehicle, Mr. James Sowders, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Sowders was charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st degree 1st offense Methamphetamine (> or = 2 grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Sowders was lodged in the Daviess County detention Center.
