Accident with Injuries

Sturgis, KY. (April 15, 2017) –, Kentucky State Police responded to a single vehicle accident on KY 109. Aaron T. Lovell, 17, of Sturgis, KY was operating a 2005 Jeep Cherokee northbound on KY 109. Lovell swerved to miss an animal in the roadway, lost control of the motor vehicle, exited the roadway, struck an earth embankment, and then overturned. Lovell was transported by Union County Ambulance to the Union County Methodist Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

KSP was assisted at the scene by the Union County Sheriff Department, Sturgis Rescue Squad, and Sullivan Volunteer Fire Department.
