Henderson, KY. (July 28, 2017) — Kentucky State Police responded to a one vehicle collision on US 41 north bound bridge. Upon arrival, 52 year old Robert Ashby of Boonville Indiana was traveling south bound on the north bound bridge due to the construction. Ashby began to experience mechanical problems and struck the concrete divider, causing his truck to overturn onto its driver side blocking traffic on the north bound bridge. Susie Chaffin, a passenger in the vehicle, was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital, Evansville In., for non-life threatening injuries. Traffic was momentarily stopped while the scene was cleaned up. KSP was assisted by Henderson City Fire and Henderson County EMS.
