KSP Investigating Inmate Escape From Union County Jail
Ford Escaped Through an Open Jail Door

MORGANFIELD, Ky. (August 28, 2017) – Kentucky State Police troopers were notified around 12:20am by officials at the Union County Detention Center of an escaped inmate. The preliminary investigation reveals 35 year-old Dameon Scott Ford of Uniontown, KY was lodged in the Union County Detention Center in Morganfield for various charges including Manuf Meth, Wanton Endangerment 1st and Fleeing/Evading Police.
Ford was authorized to be in the kitchen under kitchen detail. It is believed that Ford was able to escape through an unlocked or open jail door. Investigators are currently searching for Ford and investigators are following up on leads and tips.

- 6’00” / 150 pounds / Brown hair / Green eyes
- Last seen wearing a T-shirt that says “Community Service” and orange pants. However, it is now believed he has since changed clothing.
