Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree

DAVIESS, Ky. (September 03, 2017) – On September 3rd, 2017, the Kentucky State Police conducted a traffic stop at Frederica Street and West 11th Street in Owensboro. Upon conducting the traffic stop, Travis Green of Owensboro exited his vehicle in a quick and abrupt manner. Green then fled on foot where he was later tased and taken into custody without further incident. Green was then arrested for the following charges: (1) No Registration Plate, (2) No registration receipt, (3) Failure to produce insurance card, (4) Failure of owner to maintain required insurance, (5) Operating on a suspended license, (6) Failure to register transfer of motor vehicle, (7) Careless driving, (8) DUI – 2nd offense, (9) Fleeing or evading police 1st degree.
