Interdiction Troopers Arrest North Carolina Man

Kuttawa, KY. (March 24, 2017) – On Friday, March 24, 2017, at approximately 8:15 a.m., Kentucky State Police Post 1’s Interdiction Team stopped a vehicle on Interstate 24, near the 45 mile marker. During the traffic stop, Troopers located approximately 11 ounces of high grade marijuana, along with Marijuana edibles and paraphernalia.
Scott N. Williams, age 63, of Mars Hill, North Carolina, was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Marijuana Over 8 Ounces (Class D Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Class A Misdemeanor). Scott N. Williams was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
