KSP Arrest Muhlenberg County Man on Rape of a Child

Greenville, KY(October 7, 2017) – The Kentucky State Police are investigating a Muhlenberg County man after he was reported in reference to an inappropriate relationship with a child.

Through the investigation, it was determined that Robert Mejia, 19, Central City, was engaging in illegal sexual contact with an 12 year old female. As a result of the investigation, Mejia was arrested on October 6th and lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center on the following charges

  • Two counts of Rape 2nd Degree
  • Two counts of Sodomy 2nd Degree
  • Two counts of Unlawful Transaction with a Minor 2nd Degree

The investigation is ongoing by Detective Lloyd Ray.
