Collision with Injuries (Muhlenberg County)

Bremen, KY(October 16, 2017) – At approximately 9:10 P.M. the Kentucky State Police investigated a single vehicle collision involving injuries on Black Lake Road, 1 mile north of Bremen, KY.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Kristen Gibson, 27, of Sacramento was operating a 2008 Ford F150 pickup southbound on Black Lake Road. For an undetermined reason Gibson lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle exited the northbound shoulder of Black Lake Road and struck several tree stumps before coming to final rest.

Kristen Gibson and passenger Kenny Peveler, 68, of Bremen, KY were transported to Owensboro Health Hospital in Owensboro, KY by ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries. Gibson was wearing a seatbelt, however Peveler was not.

The investigation is ongoing by Sergeant Craig Engler. Sergeant Engler was assisted on scene by the Bremen Fire Department and Muhlenberg County EMS.
