Meth Lab Located in Vehicle After Report of Suspicious Activity

Bonnieville, KY (April 5, 2017)- The Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green received a report from a female of a suspicious vehicle parked near her residence on Priceville Road in Hart County with a naked male asleep in the front seat.
Troopers made contact with the subject in the car and identified him as 29 year old Charles R. Calhoun of Munfordville. It was determined through investigation that there was an active Meth lab inside the vehicle. He was also found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine.
Mr. Calhoun was arrested and lodged in the Hart County Jail where he was charged with
- Methamphetamine 1st Offense
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
- Drug Paraphernalia
The investigation is still ongoing and being led by Master Trooper Jonathan McChesney. He was assisted on the scene by Master Trooper Lonnie Hodges and KSP Drug Enforcement/Special Investigations. No other details are available for release at this time.
