Single Vehicle Injury Collision on I-65

Park City, KY (June 22, 2017)- The Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green received a call of a single vehicle injury collision this morning at approx. 5:50 am near the 48 mile marker on Interstate 65 in Barren County.
The preliminary investigation indicated that Amanda Dean (30) of Youngstown, OH was operating a 2010 Pontiac passenger car and traveling southbound on Interstate 65 when she lost control of her vehicle and entered the median. The vehicle overturned several times where the operator was ejected.
Ms. Dean was flown to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment of multiple injuries.
The investigation is still ongoing and being led by Master Trooper Timmy Jewell. He was assisted on the scene by Trooper Kevin Mayfield, Park City Fire Department, Barren County EMS, and Air Methods. No other details are available for release at this time.
