Two Dead in Hardin Co. After Two vehicle Collision

GLENDALE, KY. Kentucky State Police Post 4 Troopers responded to a two vehicle fatal collision in Hardin Co. Sunday evening. On August 11, 2017 at approximately 7:00 P.M. EDST, KSP received a call in regards to a two vehicle accident in the 8000 block of U.S. 31-W (S. Dixie Hwy.). Dakota Shane Reynolds (23) of Elizabethtown, along with passenger April Marie Bryant (20) of Radcliff, was traveling South on U.S. 31-W in a 1997 Toyota Tercel. Magen Ilene Heath (26, Driver) and Ryan Joseph Heath (26) of Leitchfield were traveling North on 31-W in a 2008 Ford Edge. For Unknown reasons the vehicle driven by Reynolds spun out and entered the North bound lane causing the vehicle driven by Heath to strike the passenger side of Reynolds vehicle. Dakota Reynolds and April Bryant were both pronounced dead at the scene by the Hardin Co. Coroner’s Office. Magen Heath and Ryan Heath were both transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital with minor injuries and later released. The accident is still under in vestigation by Trooper/Reconstructionist Bryan Washer.
