K.S.P. Investigates Injury Collision Involving Wolfe County School Bus

Campton, Ky. (May 11, 2017) –– On Thursday, May 11, 2017, at approximately 03:47 P.M., Kentucky State Police Post 8 Morehead responded to a two vehicle injury collision involving a Wolfe County School Bus and a passenger vehicle on Rexville Road in Wolfe County. A Wolfe County student was transported by Wolfe County E.M.S, to Morgan County A.R.H. in West Liberty, Kentucky and treated for minor injuries. The collision remains under investigation by Trooper Tyler Smith. Richard E. Bush, age 23, of Clay City, Kentucky was the operator of the passenger vehicle involved in the accident. Bush was arrested at the scene by Trooper Tyler Smith on a non-related active Morgan District Court Bench Warrant of Arrest and lodged in the Three Forks Regional Detention Center. Richard E. Bush was also cited for Operating on Suspended Operator License, No Insurance, Expired Registration Receipt, Expired Registration and Failure to Notify the Department of Transportation of Address Change.
