Post 7 Safety Traffic Checkpoints
(Richmond, KY.) Kentucky State Police Post Seven will be conducting safety traffic checkpoints in the Post Seven area. Troopers will be checking for impaired drivers, children that are not properly restrained in child safety seats, and to inform the public about the use of seatbelts. These safety checkpoints will be conducted in various locations throughout the Post Seven area that are experiencing a high ratio of vehicular crashes resulting in injury and/or death compared to relatively low safety restraint usage ratio.
Post 7 Safety Traffic Checkpoints
Effective immediately, the following locations are approved Traffic Safety Checkpoint Locations for the Post 7 District. At these checkpoints troopers will be targeting impaired drivers, checking for properly restrained adults and children and observing for any other safety violations.
