| Through April 23, 2013, preliminary statistics* indicate that 160 people have lost their lives on Kentucky roadways during 2013. This forty-four (44) less than was reported for the same time period in 2012. | |||
| In the Post Four there has been twenty-nine (29) motor vehicle fatalities and thirteen (13) victims were not wearing seat belts and sixteen (16) victims were wearing seat belt. Eight (8) crashes involved a pedestrian. Six (6) deaths has resulted from crashes involving the suspected use of alcohol. | |||
