Kentucky State Police Arrest Pike County Man after Drug Investigation

ELKHORN CITY, Ky. (December 20, 2022) – A Pike County man was arrested on December 14, 2022 after illegal drugs were discovered at his residence.

While conducting a search of the home, quantities of suspected methamphetamine, prescription medication, and marijuana were seized.  Additionally, drug paraphernalia, firearms, and a sum of cash were seized from the residence.

Steven Adkins, 37, of Elkhorn City, was arrested and lodged in the Pike County Detention Center on charges of Trafficking Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Trafficking Controlled Substance (Opiates), Trafficking Controlled Substance 2^nd Degree, Trafficking Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
