Pineville, KY (April 9, 2018) On March 31, 2018 Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan received a call from a parent in Bell County requesting an investigation in regards to inappropriate messages that she discovered on her son’s Facebook account.

Pikeville, KY.(March 14, 2018) – An officer with Pikeville Police Department was shot to death late Tuesday evening in Pike County.
Blackmont, KY(February 8, 2018) On February 21, 2018 at approximately 8:31 p.m. Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan received a call from the Bell County Dispatch about an accidental shooting that occurred at a residence on Charles Collett Road in the Blackmont community of Bell County.

Barbourville, KY (January 31, 2018) On January 31, 2018 at approximately 2:30 p.m. Kentucky State Police Post 10 Harlan received a complaint from the Kentucky Department of Education regarding a threat made toward a Knox County School. Kenneth Miller, 43, of Barbourville called their office making the threats.
