KSP Post 7 Trooper Awards

(Frankfort, KY) - Two troopers from Kentucky State Police Post 7 in Richmond were among those honored at the KSP Awards Ceremony in Louisville on May 8.

Tpr. Brian Bowman, a Richmond native and resident, was awarded the Trooper's Medal and Tpr. Robert Purdy was named Trooper of the Year for Post 7

Tpr. Brian Bowman, a Richmond native and resident, was awarded the Trooper's Medal. Bowman is a 1993 graduate of Model Laboratory School and a 1996 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. He is the son of Charles and Paula Bowman of Richmond

Tpr. Robert Purdy was named Trooper of the Year for Post 7. A resident of Richmond, Purdy is a 2005 graduate of Murray State University. He is the son of Roger and Pam Purdy of Gainesville, Texas.
