Mt. Olivet Man Arrested on Sex Charges

Date of News Release: 07/07/2010

(Frankfort, Ky.) -- On July 6, 2010, James H. Moore age 57, of Mt. Olivet, Ky. was arrested by as a result of a joint Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) undercover operation with Lexington Police Department. Moore communicated with an undercover officer over the Internet posing as a fourteen year old girl. He solicited the undercover officer for sexual relations and traveled to a pre-arranged meeting location in Lexington, Kentucky. He was charged with unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual activities and lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center on a $3,000 bond. The investigation is continuing.
